This year 2023 whilst researching fashion I learnt that fast fashion waste has a detrimental impact on

the environment. 1.92 million tonnes of textiles waste is produced every year and over 92 million tonnes ends up in landfills. I was amazed at my ignorance and have decided to try and help the environment by recycling, upcycling and reworking items that Ive found in charity/thrift shops, reusing the current materials that are available and creating new totally unique pieces of work.
